The LEGO Group has shuffled around the retiring dates of a handful of Marvel sets, extending the shelf life of 76269 Avengers Tower in the process.
The biggest LEGO Marvel set currently on shelves was previously scheduled to retire by the end of 2027, but will now remain on shelves until at least the end of 2028 as things stand. That’s good news for anyone still saving up for the £429.99 / $499.99 / €499.99 set and its laundry list of Marvel Cinematic Universe minifigures.
It also makes 76269 Avengers Tower the LEGO Marvel set with the longest predicted lifespan at the time of writing, with the sole exception of 11206 Spidey on his Motorcycle vs. Rhino, which for some reason is scheduled to remain on shelves until the end of 2030.
Elsewhere, 2026 releases 76342 Spider-Man vs. Mysterio: The Daily Bugle and 76343 Epic Battle: Hulkbuster vs. The Hulk have moved forward from a December 31, 2027 retiring date to July 31, 2027, while 76334 Epic Battle: Spider-Man vs. Sandman has gone in the opposite direction. You’ve still got 12 months or so before you need to really start worrying about those, though.
