The 10 biggest LEGO sets released throughout 2025

It's been a big year for equally big LEGO sets, and the list of the largest has some surprising and not-so-surprising entries.

LEGO enthusiasts' wallets have been sufficiently drained over the past 12 months, thanks to another year of massive LEGO models. Whether you enjoy the variety of LEGO Icons and Ideas or the familiar stories and characters of Harry Potter and NINJAGO, it's been a big and busy year.

Here's your guide to the 10 biggest LEGO sets released throughout 2025, ranging from Star Trek to by far the biggest Star Wars set ever made (spoilers, that one is at the top). This is in order of piece count, ascending.

LEGO NINJAGO 71837 NINJAGO City Workshops featured 1024x576

The latest addition to NINJAGO City may be one of the smallest for the range, but it's not quite at the bottom of the biggest sets of 2025 list. 71837 NINJAGO City Workshops has 3,244 pieces in the usual stacked city structure, integrating a crane this time for the construction of a mech at the front of the build. It adds a significant twist compared to the other NINJAGO City models.

8 – 21359 Italian Riviera

At 3,251 pieces, LEGO Ideas 21359 Italian Riviera is next up. This fan-inspired model recreates a slice of the Italian coastline with a serene fishing village complete with a gelato shop and many more references to Italian culture. It's also one of the most colourful models in this list, matching the bright hues of the villages that have inspired it.

7 – 10350 Tudor Corner

The most recent LEGO modular building sits at spot number seven with 3,266 pieces, making up the most British modular building to date. 10350 Tudor Corner impressed in our review earlier this year and remains one of the most visually-unique entries into the modular range, and it's one of the biggest by piece count.

LEGO One Piece debuted earlier this year, and it sits in the middle of the list thanks to 75640 The Baratie Floating Restaurant. The 3,402-piece recreation of the live-action adaptation's take on this location includes numerous exclusive minifigures and a stunning build rife with detail and Easter eggs.

5 – 21063 Neuschwanstein Castle

LEGO Architecture 21063 Neuschwanstein Castle featured 3 1024x576

At 3,455 pieces, LEGO Architecture 21063 Neuschwanstein Castle also has a spot in the middle of the list, but by using a variety of smaller elements, in accordance with LEGO Architecture's style, it's not that big a set in terms of the overall volume.

4 – 10356 Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D

LEGO Ideas' biggest set so far is 21356 River Steamboat, and with 4,090 pieces, it's also the third-largest LEGO set released throughout 2025. The detailed recreation of a vintage steamboat comes with a full interior, though it's not to scale with minifigures.

2 – 10366 Tropical Aquarium

LEGO Icons 10366 Tropical Aquarium featured

The giant 10366 Tropical Aquarium is nearly the biggest LEGO set released in 2025 (well, it's not exactly close), yet it takes only the second spot with its colourful mix of models making up a filled fish tank with moving parts. This build uses 4,154 elements, including many rare and exclusive recolours.

1 – 75419 Death Star

LEGO Star Wars 75419 Death Star featured 1 1024x576

This shouldn't come as a surprise, but with 9,023 pieces for £899.99 / $999.99 / €999.99, 75419 Death Star is by far the biggest LEGO set released throughout 2025. The space station slice is filled with minifigures to populate scenes from the movies, and the set even had a cameo in the second season of Rebuild the Galaxy
